Using the Hobart EDGE14 meat slicer is quite simple. First, place the slicer on a stable countertop. Make sure it's plugged into a 120V outlet with a 15-amp circuit. Before you start slicing, adjust the cut thickness according to your needs. Then, put the meat, cheese, or vegetable on the 45° product table and use the rear-mounted meat grip to hold it firmly. Turn on the slicer and start slicing. When you're done, always remember to turn off the power. For cleaning, remove the carriage system, product deflector, and the meat grip. You can also take out the top-mounted ceramic sharpener for cleaning. Wash these parts with mild soap and water. Wipe the base and other parts with a damp cloth. Make sure all parts are dry before reassembling. Regularly check the knife's sharpness. If it's dull, use the ceramic sharpener to sharpen it. Keep the slicer in a dry place when not in use. And always follow the safety instructions to avoid any accidents.
