Using your Nella meat slicer is easy. First, make sure the slicer is plugged into a 110V, 60Hz, 1 Ph electrical outlet with the included NEMA 5 - 15P plug. Place the meat on the carriage table. Adjust the cut thickness to your desired setting between 0 - 15 mm. Turn on the slicer, and let the 0.35 hp motor do its work. The large horizontal carriage table and long stroke depth give you good control while slicing. Remember to keep your hands away from the blade at all times. When you're done slicing, turn off the machine and unplug it. For cleaning, remove the carriage, end grip, and blade cover as they're easy to take off. Wash them with mild soap and water. The anodized aluminum body can be wiped clean. It's resistant to food acids, so it won't get damaged easily. Periodically, check the blade and sharpen it when needed. The high - carbon steel, hard - chromed blade has a design that allows for full - life sharpening. Keep the slicer in a dry place when not in use to prevent any damage.
