The EMPower unit of this Electrolux gas charbroiler top features two high-efficiency 33,000 BTU (9.6 kW) burners. The control knobs offer smooth, continuous rotation from minimum to maximum settings. It's suitable for both natural gas and propane gas. Heavy-duty, double-sided, removable cast iron radiants create attractive char-broil markings and an unmistakable char-broiled flavor.

The 6-inch (153 mm) radiant sections can be easily and safely removed for cleaning. A special system with stainless steel deflective shields below the radiants (PATENT PENDING) prevents burner clogging, reduces flare-ups, and ensures even heat distribution. Two full-length, half-gallon (2 l) grease collector drawers with a fill indicator capture all excess grease and oil and can be easily removed for dumping and cleaning. The worktop is made of AISI 304 stainless steel.

The front and side panels are made of stainless steel with a Scotch Brite finish. The removable splash-back can be easily disassembled for cleaning. Special heavy-duty chrome-plated knobs are durable and easy to clean. It comes with 4-foot (102mm) height-adjustable, removable legs. The EMPower unit can be installed on a refrigerated base or an open cupboard.
