Using your Hoshizaki KMD-505MAJ ice machine is easy. First, make sure it's installed in an area with the right ambient temperature (45°F - 100°F) and water temperature (45°F - 90°F). Connect it to a power source with 115V, 60Hz, and 1pH, and hardwire it as it comes with bare wire. Then, connect the water supply with a pressure between 10 - 113 PSIG. Once everything is connected, turn it on using the control panel. It will start making ice cubes on its own. For maintenance, use the self-cleaning function regularly to keep it in good condition. Check the EverCheck™ alert system for any issues. Clean the exterior with a mild detergent and a soft cloth. Also, make sure to keep the area around the machine clean and well-ventilated.
