Load the firebox with wood and start the fire. Adjust the grates with one hand using the crankshaft to get the right height for your food. When cooking, make sure to place your food evenly on the cast - iron grates for consistent cooking. Here are some things to keep in mind. Always place the grill on a flat and stable surface to avoid tipping. Keep children and pets away from the hot grill. Don't overfill the firebox, as it may cause the fire to get out of control. For maintenance, after each use, let the grill cool down completely. Clean the grates with a grill brush. Check the casters regularly to make sure they roll smoothly.
