The small base takes up little counter space, and there's a carrying handle on the back for easy movement. The housing is made of anodized aluminum with rubber feet to prevent skidding. The removable feed hopper is burnished aluminum, and the feed hopper, pusher and deflector plate are made of acetal thermoplastic. This food processor has a 0.75 hp motor with a fixed 420 RPM plate speed, ensuring easy and efficient cutting, chopping, slicing and dicing. Using the Hobart FP250 Continuous Feed Food Processor is a breeze. First, make sure it's plugged into a 120V power source. You'll notice the red OFF and green ON buttons - just press the green one to start the machine. The 50° angled front makes it easy for you to feed in fruits, vegetables, or potatoes. Simply place the items into the large half - size feed hopper and use the pusher to guide them through. The machine will slice and shred them at a fast 420 RPM speed. When it comes to safety, remember that the double interlock switch is there to protect you. Don't try to operate the machine if the switch isn't working properly. Also, make sure to unplug the machine before cleaning or maintenance. For maintenance, after each use, unplug the machine and remove the feed hopper. You can wash it with mild soap and water.
