The STERO ER-94S offers high-capacity ware washing. With a powerful 32' scrapper, recirculating heated wash and rinse tanks, followed by a freshwater rinse, it's a high-volume, water-efficient washer in a 94' footprint. The scrapper tank does pre-rinsing better and faster than manual methods, using 185 gpm of re-circulated water to remove food soil from above and below the ware. Removing food soil before washing saves labor and detergent. The rinse water feed-back system transfers food soil to the outboard scrap catchment, keeping the scrapper tank water clean. The full rack-width washing pattern powered by a 225-gallon-per-minute pump makes this dishwasher a workhorse. STERO's rack-activated final rinse ensures trouble-free rinsing and sanitizing.
Using the Hobart STERO ER-94S/SC dishwasher is easy. First, make sure the tank levels are proper as it will automatically fill to maintain them. When you place a rack on the conveyor, the rack-activated switch will start the conveyor and pumps, and the dishwasher will start working. It can wash up to 270 racks per hour. The rinse uses 2.02 gpm or 0.49 gallons per rack. During idle periods, it will automatically shut down to save energy. For the best results, ensure the incoming water temperature is 140°F and the final rinse temperature is 180°F. As for maintenance, regularly check the scrapper tank and the outboard scrap catchment. The rinse water feed-back system is designed to keep the scrapper tank water clean by transferring food soil to the catchment, but you still need to clean it from time to time. Also, follow the safety standards as it is NSF, UL Canada & USA, and Energy Star certified.
